Westhaven Inn Pollock Pines near Camino

We needed a place to sleep in a pinch after being stuck in traffic for 4 hours with 2 babies on highway 50. Sarah and James were kind and helped us get everything we needed. It is obvious that they are working hard to make the Westhaven Inn a really great place to stay and they are well on their way. We could hear our neighbors all night and the floors could’ve used a mopping, but other than that the accommodations were really nice!

This Inn is an adorable hidden gem! The rooms have been recently renovated and are amazingly clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Unexpectedly spent a second night here because I couldn’t find anything comparably cute on the next leg of my vacation and I didn’t want to leave Westhaven Inn. I would absolutely stay here again, and I plan to the next time I come through this area.

We had a brief stay on our way to Lake Tahoe with our pet and it was great. Room was clean and spacious and specially pet friendly. We requested a ground floor and it was accommodated and we loved our stay there and will certainly stop by next time when we visit Tahoe. Thank you

James and Sarah are very kind and nice. One unique characteristic and resource of this hotel is that James lets you text msg him. I didn't want to bother him, but sometimes the other people that stayed there would have requests so I'd txt msg him at all hours. James is really quick to find solutions or get you what you need. We were only going to stay one night, but became 3 nights. That's how nice this hotel is and the customer service / staff is the best part.

James and Sarah were very friendly. I was checked in so quickly. The room was extremely clean, recently remodeled and very spacious. I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely return. Thanks again.

What a pleasant surprise! The room was incredibly spacious and came with a balcony. The staff was super friendly, and I really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. My only suggestion would be to better highlight the pet fee on the website. That said, I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here on Dec 31, 2025. We were looking for a quiet place we could take our dog, as he gets so terribly worked up from the fireworks near our house. This place turned out great. Check-in was super easy, and the young man at the desk was friendly and efficient. He even gave us a little goodie bag with water and granola bars - A really nice touch. The room was spacious, super clean with good lighting and adequate plugs and USB ports in convenient places. The place looked newly renovated. The king bed was comfy and the room had a couch too. I loved the 2 sinks in the bathroom area. Best of all, it was quiet and my dog was calm and happy. Even though breakfast is not offered, there is a restaurant within walking distance, and others just a short drive away. I think we have found our regular New Year's Eve spot.

Went here when the snow was too much and unable to drive through the canyon so it was very last minute. The motel (Best Western?) booked a room but was *overbooked* and couldn't accommodate. Sarah (reception desk) was able to accommodate our family AND my dog so quickly! The rooms were so spacious & perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again!
